Apex club to hold Santa Fair

THE Gympie Apex Club is holding its annual Santa Fair on December 4.

The Gympie Apex Club is proud to announce the Santa Fair will be held at Nelson Reserve.

This week, the club began working on the cubby house, which will again be the major prize of the event.

The Gympie Apex Club Santa Fair is in its 54th year.

Santa Fair chairman Wayne Dean is hoping for a repeat of last year’s success and is anticipating that entertainers The Boogie-Woogies will return with a special Christmas performance.

Activities will include rides and games, as well as musical entertainment – headed by Gympie’s own Australian Institute of Country Music – and culminating in Santa’s arrival and the drawing of the cubby house.

All proceeds from the night go to the children’s ward at the Gympie General Hospital.

Businesses interested in supporting the event – or individuals wanting to learn more about the Gympie Apex Club – should contact club president Darryl Blacker 0408 715 781.
