Alleged burglar evades Dalby police in stolen car

POLICE are on the hunt for a brazen thief that evaded officers in a stolen Ford Falcon following a Dalby break and enter.

On September 16 between 8.30pm – 9.30pm, a house on Condamine St was allegedly entered by unknown offenders.

Two mobile phones and a 2016 Ford Falcon were stolen in the brazen burglary, according to police.

One of the phones was located dumped along Adcock St later that night, while the car was spotted travelling along Edward St.

Police attempted to intercept the stolen vehicle, however the driver drove off to encourage a pursuit.

The car was found abandoned the next day about 8.45am on Hospital Rd, with investigations still ongoing.
