Airlift called after motorcycle crashes into barbed wire

A MOTORCYCLE rider has left the road and collided with a barbed wire fence at Cedar Pocket yesterday afternoon.

The rider was travelling south along Gap Road at 3.30 when the crash occurred.

The 51-year-old male rider from Lake Macdonald was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
