Addict out on bail ordered to have random drug tests

A DARLING Downs drug addict must have drug tests whenever authorities request them as a condition of his freedom.

Wade Andrew Briese, 26, successfully applied for bail in the Queensland Supreme Court on Friday after breaching his previous drug charges with more alleged offences.

Briese is charged with possessing dangerous drugs and utensils on December 8 last year and March 8 this year at Oakey and Charlton.

Justice Martin Daubney said bail conditions, including the drug tests, could adequately reduce the risk of re-offending.
