Actors ride high on show

THE infamous Little Red Riding Hood made her way to Gympie TAFE last week.

The fairytale girl was brought to life in Gympie with the help of international actor and director Louise Bezel, who led local developing actors though a six-week course, run in conjunction with the Community Futures Project for aspiring actors.

The workshop introduced the actors to theatrical storytelling techniques, allowing them access to a range of new skills.

The group transformed the well-known fairytale Little Red Riding Hood into an entertaining play for the stage.

Parents, families and friends made up the audience for the presentation and were treated to an exciting interpretation of the simple fairytale, transformed into an amazing piece of drama.

Actors impressed with an array of amusing drama production and did themselves proud in their accomplishment, made possible thanks to Ms Bezel's training and insight.
