Get inspired at Home and Life Expo

THIS weekend the Pavilion will be home to The Gympie Times and Camp Quality Home and Life Expo.

The Expo will be spread across the Pavilion with a premier display of products and services over two days.

Don’t miss your chance to grab a bargain as there will be more than 60 local businesses in the one location – allowing you to see, try, compare and buy. There will also be seminars and demos throughout the day and a free kid’s activity area.

Expo co-ordinator Michelle Agnew said this year one of the major focuses was on turning the Pavilion into a “family friendly environment” so parents could relax and take their time looking around.

“This is one of the best ways for residents to discover what our local businesses have to offer,” she said.

“The Expo is about showing residents of the Gympie region what is happening locally, what goods and services are available and how the business community is changing and growing with the times.”

Entry to the Expo is a $2 donation (children are free) which will be donated to Camp Quality to help Aussie kids living with cancer. The event is family and wheelchair friendly, with full canteen facilities provided by Marina Taylor and the Red Cross team.

“It’s going to be great,” Mrs Agnew said, taking a break from the hustle and bustle of setting up yesterday. “A lot of regulars have returned because they value the exposure to the community and there are quite a few new businesses on board.”

Kid’s entertainment includes a jumping castle and face painting.
