14-month-old airlifted after fall from park bench

RACQ CareFlight Rescue has airlifted a 14 month old toddler who fell off a park bench in the Gympie region.

The boy received a knock to his head when he fell earlier this afternoon.

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter from the Sunshine Coast flew to Archery Park in Gympie to treat and airlift the little patient.

He was flown to the Royal Children's Hospital for observation.

He travelled in a stable condition, accompanied by his mother.
