Police are asking for help to find this 12-year-old boy who has been missing since lunchtime on Sunday.

The boy was last seen in Browns Plains, on Brisbane's south, at about 12.40pm.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and that he suffers from a medical condition.

It is possible the boy may catch public transport to Brisbane.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, 150cms tall, slim build with light brown hair. He is believed to be wearing a black hoodie top, blue shorts and blue sneakers.

Anyone who has seen the boy or has any information in relation to his current whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
