A 25-YEAR-OLD Gympie man has been charged over an armed robbery at a Gympie video store on Saturday night.
It is alleged the man entered the Tozer Street video store about 8.45pm, produced a knife and demanded cash from the attendant.
Police say the attendant complied with the demands and the man left the store with a sum of cash.
Police located the man a short time later and he was taken into custody.
The man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and two counts of disqualified driving and is due to appear in Gympie Magistrates Court on February 13.
