FOLLOWING the loss of naming-sponsor Toyota, the Gympie Music Muster is able to continue supporting Australian music thanks to camping and outdoor leisure company BCF Australia signing as a major sponsor of the iconic event.
“We are pleased to announce BCF as one of our major sponsors and are looking forward to a long-standing relationship with the well-respected Australian company,” marketing and sponsorship co-ordinator, Jarryd Townson said.
After recent media interest on the withdrawal of Toyota's sponsorship, Mr Townson was quick to point out that the annual music festival operated with the assistance of more than 50 community groups and 2000 volunteers. He said the Muster relied on the generous support from Australian companies to assist in the running of the non-profit festival.
BCF brand manager Ben McConnell said the Muster provides the whole experience; from its showcase of Australian talent, to the opportunity to camp out with family and friends.
“BCF is proud to be associated with an event of the Muster's calibre, the dedication and support it offers to Australians nationwide demonstrates its commitment to the true Australian spirit,” he said.
Muster ticket sales for 2009 are currently at the highest ever recorded since the Muster's inception as this year's event shapes up to be the biggest ever.
