Tiger adds more cheap flights
A DISCOUNT airline is offering airfares below $50 between the Gold Coast and Melbourne.
Tiger Airways Australia is selling seats for as low as $49.95 for flights between February 1 and March 31.
Tiger Airways head of marketing and communications Vanessa Regan said the decision to lower fares was in response to customer demand for discount tickets during peak travel periods.
"Tiger Airways is responding to ongoing demand for affordable domestic air travel over the remaining summer and early autumn period when many Australians are keen to take a quick break interstate before the onset of winter," Ms Regan said.
Tickets are available until midnight January 18 or until sold out.
