RACQ tackles vehicle maintenance
MOTORISTS guilty of being lax when it comes to basic vehicle maintenance no longer have an excuse, thanks to the RACQ.
The RACQ Mobile Member Centre rolls into Gympie from Monday, May 14 to Saturday, June 19, offering free vehicle checks at Action Ford and the annual Gympie Show.
The free checks ensure a car is given a thorough inspection covering three key areas - a vehicle's internal/external features, under the bonnet and the wheels and tyres.
"The Mobile Member Centre's main role is to respond to the needs of RACQ members during natural disasters," Mobile Member Centre coordinator Keith Cassidy said.
"However it also travels (throughout Queensland) for special events."
The Mobile Member Centre is at Action Ford from 1pm Monday, May 14 to 1pm Wednesday, May 16. From there, it is on to the Gympie Show.
