Police on hunt for two men after assault in Bunnings

POLICE have released a photo of two men - wanted for questioning - over an assault at Bunnings last weekend.

Police say the alleged incident happened last Saturday, on Hall Road, in the carpark of Bunnings.

It is alleged a male offender got out of his car and repeatedly struck his victim on his head and body.

The vehicle is described as a green/grey Holden Commodore wagon and was last seen travelling along Hall Road.

Police would like to speak with two men (pictured) who they believe will be able to assist with their inquiries.

Gympie Police are investigating the assault which took place at about 1.30pm.

The offence occurred whilst the victim was standing near a concrete staircase when the offender started calling out from his passing vehicle.

The offender has exited the car and walked up to the victim from behind, hitting him to the back of the head. The victim was then further assaulted by the offender, being struck again to the head and body.
