ENTERTAINMENT has been stepped up again by the Gympie Show Society, with a variety of top-class performers listed in this year's line-up.
Those unable to experience the thrill of the wild rides in sideshow alley can take advantage of a Gympie Show-first in a simulated environment. A camera mounted to one of more exciting rides will be displayed on a big screen, but how and where is still a secret.
Darryl McLeary, of KC Fireworks, promises something extra special in his colourful displays this year and a monster truck show is expected to be a major drawcard. Show goers can expect to see smaller vehicles and other obstacles crushed beneath huge tyres.
Horseman Guy McLean and his performance horses are expected to be a crowd favourite. And the two-time Australian Bush Poetry champion and accomplished whip cracker has created a unique blend of Australian entertainment for the whole family.
Leading children's entertainer Nickleby the Magician and Bendy Em, the street performing contortionist, will help make this year's Gympie Show a spectacular event.
Early-bird tickets are available now at Centro shopping centre.
