Camilla loses 15kg in 12WBT
FROM blogging to jogging, Rockhampton's Camilla Petterson has just the recipe for losing weight.
Camilla has cut out preservatives, sticks to 1200 calories a day and fits in a regular exercise regime.
Her recipe for success has won her a Michelle Bridges Protein Powder Pack, top of the line Tanita body scale and a trophy shaped like a diamond for her achievement in the Michelle Bridges 12-Week Body Transformation (12WBT) challenge.
As a reward for her success, she has booked a trip to Hawaii
Camilla, who works two jobs, followed the 12WBT and managed to lose 15kg in the 12 weeks.
She took the time to blog about her experience since she started in January.
"Weight loss is not a lifestyle camp, it is a decision that has to be made for the long term," she said.
At a finale event in Melbourne, she was rewarded for her efforts based on the following reasons:
"Camilla is super busy who works 60 hours a week between two jobs.
"She was active in 12WBT forums providing a lot of support and advice to other members and also managed to squeeze in 96 blog posts in five months.
"Her funny, heartfelt and truthful blog is very popular with over 5000 hits since January."
She admits she has had issues with her weight since her early 20s. Her sudden change of lifestyle just before Christmas last year has led to a dramatic weight loss from 112.8-97kg.
TRIMMING TIPS
Camilla Petterson's guide to a healthy lifestyle includes:
Fresh fruit and vegies and soup made from scratch rather than out of the packet.
Six meals a day. Three main and three snacks.
1200 calories a day across your six meals.
At least 20 minutes of exercise a day.
